As part of National Apprenticeship Week, today focuses on the success of farriery training at Myerscough College.
A Myerscough College farriery student has been recognised for the quality of his work on a national level during the industry’s recent registration ceremony.
A plaque has been unveiled to commemorate Myerscough’s dear colleague, Dr Lorraine Allan, Head of Equine, Farriery and Veterinary Nursing, who passed away earlier this year.
Myerscough College’s farriers received a visit last week from five-time World Champion Blacksmith, Steve Beane.
Myerscough College apprentice farriers have enjoyed individual and team success at the annual BFBA International Farriery Competition.
