Introduction:

Hanging baskets provide an additional feature to the garden. This course provides the opportunity to recognise appropriate plants and substrate, observe a demonstration and have a go at making your own hanging basket.

A keen interest in horticulture.

Demonstration and making your own hanging basket:

• Plant identification

• Types of basket

• Substrate and nutrition

• Irrigation

• Problem solving

How long will I be learning?

Although this course only lasts for one day, this is only the start and you’ll carry on learning as you put your new skills into practice.

What equipment will I need?

All equipment is provided, but you will need to wear sensible footwear and outdoor clothing.
