ASDAN Entry Level 2 Certificate Personal and Social Development

About the course

This is an entry 2 course offered over 3.5 days per week. The content has been developed around preparation of life and work. The course is aimed at young people with moderate learning difficulties. As well as work at college and on the practical units at Myerscough, the course includes many outside visits to compliment the community awareness aspect of the course and includes using the college gym on a regular basis together with learning basic cookery skills.

Entry requirements & additional information

Entry requirements

Students need to be over 16 and have an interest in a practical subject to qualify for the course. No previous qualifications are required. The College provides learning support for those who have learning difficulties and disabilities

Progression

Following successful completion of this course it may be possible to progress to ASDAN Entry Level 3 Diploma, or onto one of our Skills for Working Life courses.
