Preston (Myerscough) Applicant Events - Further Education

No bookable dates at the moment, but don't worry, we will be in touch with information about future plans over the summer!

The Applicant Day is a great opportunity for you to experience the College’s specialist facilities, meet your tutors and take part in a taster session.

The days are not mandatory, but we recommend that you try to attend at least one day before you start your course.

Please note that the event is for applicants only. Parents/guardians and carers are welcome to make use of the public areas on campus or explore the surrounding area and return to collect applicants at 4pm.

The Admissions Team will talk you through the next steps on your journey to becoming a Myerscough student and our Finance Team will advise on transport, how to apply for your bus pass and talk you through all the different financial help available.

Other teams involved in the activities include Student Support, Inclusive Learning, Careers, Work Experience and the English and Maths Team. Our Student Union Liaison Officer will also be on hand to talk you through all the amazing enrichment activities available to you as a Myerscough student.

A complimentary lunch will also be provided to give you a flavour of what our Richmond’s Restaurant and the Catering Team has to offer.

The events will start at 9.30am and end at 4pm, at which point parents and carers are invited to come and chat with our Admissions, Finance, Careers, Work Experience, Learning Support, Accommodation, Student Support & Welfare, Sports Membership and Clothing Teams.

Places are expected to fill up quickly, so please click the link below to book your place*

No dates available at the moment. All applicants will be contacted directly if another date becomes available

If you have received an offer of a place from the College, please indicate the level as stated in your offer email when booking. If you have applied for more than one subject area, you are welcome to attend again for each course you have applied for, but only one specific course will be available to attend on each day.

If you have applied for one of our Foundation Learning courses, please do not attend an Applicant Day, you will be invited in for a separate bespoke event in the coming weeks.

As you will be participating in practical sessions during the day, please dress accordingly (more information will be provided after booking).

We look forward to welcoming you on campus and giving you a flavour of life as a Myerscough student.

*If the Applicant Day reaches capacity, we will contact you directly to book you onto an alternative event.
