Foundation Learning Courses

Foundation Learning, Bridging the Gap, Moving on Project and Access to Further Education students will be contacted by their Programme Leaders on when to attend.

All Other Full Time Courses at the Preston Centre

Your exact start date will be the first session as per the Timetable Tab on My Student Portal, which will appear once you have successfully enrolled onto your course (see Admissions Checklist on the Admissions Guide). If you are a new Myerscough student or are starting a new course, your first day will be week commencing the 2nd September 2024

Your Programme Leader will try to contact you on 21st August 2024 to finalise plans for enrolment and your course, this is just a courtesy call, so don't worry if you miss it, but it will provide an opportunity for you to ask them about timetables, course preparation etc.  If your course changes after enrolment due to unexpected results, your Programme Leader will be in touch again to discuss this.

On your first day, College staff will be available on your arrival to direct you to the correct location, if you arrive on a bus and the your session is not until later on in the day, we will have a Welcome Area for you to attend.

If you are starting your course after the first week (late starter), then you should just attend as instructed by the Admissions Team or your Programme Leader.

If you have applied for accommodation, you will be advised directly by the Residency Team on when to attend.

All year 2 720/1080 students should attend as per their first timetabled session week commencing 9th September 2024.
