Returning Myerscough Students Joining Instructions
Please note that applicants progressing to FE from 14-16 courses should not use the instructions below and should use the main set of instructions as seen on the Admissions Guide.
We are looking forward to welcoming you on your first day at the start of the autumn term in September, another big step towards a successful future.
Your Results
Once they have been released, information about your results and when they can be accessed can be found on our Results webpage. If you don’t get what you were expecting or you haven’t met the conditions of your offer, our Curriculum Teams will contact you on or shortly after results day to discuss your options so please keep your phone on and/or check your emails on the day you get your results.
You can access the Results Guide here: Results Guide 2024
Your First Day
Your first day at Myerscough will depend on the final confirmation of your course and which centre you are attending. More information can be found on the Start Date section on the Admissions Guide. If you are a second year (moving from level 3 year 1 to Level 3 year 2), you should attend as per your first session on your timetable, week commencing the 9th September 2024.
Enrolment
Important - If you have been made more than one offer, please only accept your first choice. You can decline the course that you do not want to take. If you change your mind at a later date and meet the entry criteria for the course, you have 42 days to speak to your tutor to arrange a transfer.
Once you have accepted an offer and your results have been confirmed, from 22nd August 2024, you will see an “Enrolment" button appear in red on My Student Portal. You will need to read this information carefully and accept the agreement. Please note that the agreement is only valid if you meet the entry requirements of the course. If you are still awaiting an offer, you can contact your Course Tutor or Assistant Head directly and ask for an update.
You should also make sure the rest of the information in My Details is up to date. Please do not upload any qualification evidence using the portal.
Please remember that if you don’t pass Maths and English at Grade 4 or above and you are aged under 19, you will be required to enrol on the relevant subject, alongside your main course, until you achieve a suitable grade, as set out in the Government Guidance.
