This training and assessment programme only covers Unit 111 of the Award, Operating Mounted, Trailed and Self Propelled Hydraulic Nozzle or Rotary Atomiser Horizontal Boom Sprayers (PA2A)

The assessment is held on a separate day by appointment, usually the following week

If candidates meet the below criteria then they are eligible to complete the course for FREE.

* Lived in UK/EU for 3 years

* UK Citizen / Legal permission to live and work in UK

* Not attending school, college or university, an apprentice or training as part of any full or part time, government funded training programme.

* Not in custody as a prisoner or on remand.

On a low wage OR unemployed.

PLEASE NOTE NO MONEY WILL BE TAKEN ON BOOKING FOR THIS COURSE. CANDIDATES WILL BE BILLED £260 FOLLOWING THE COURSE if they are not eligible for funding.

Entry Criteria / Additional Information

This training will be delivered using a compact tractor with a mounted boom sprayer. All candidates must be a competent tractor operator to undertake this course and be able to demonstrate two years work experience using tractors or hold a City & Guilds NPTC tractor driving and related operations certificate of competence

Candidates must have achieved the L2 Award in the Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides (PA1)

Candidates are expected to provide their own PPE for both the training and assessments. A list will be provided up on application
