Myerscough has been named a finalist in the Training Provider/Programme of the Year category, alongside Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Degree Nurse Apprenticeship Programme, Leap Apprenticeships & Early Careers powered by Travis Perkins Plc, Skills4Pharmacy, and Themis at Burnley College

The second annual Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards celebrate and recognise the hardworking individuals and organisations involved in apprenticeships and how they shape our future.

A spokesperson for the awards said: ‘’These awards celebrate and recognise the hard working individuals and organisations involved in apprenticeships, and how they shape our future. We are now open for entries across a variety of categories, and we are keen to hear from the many businesses and individuals in the county.

“We want to recognise all of the efforts of the apprenticeship scheme - from the apprentices themselves to the wonderful training providers and employers who support them.’’

Last year, Myerscough learner Cameron Barker was named winner in the category Intermediate Apprentice of the Year, for his efforts whole completing his Level 3 apprenticeship in landscaping.

The 2023 award winners will be crowned at Preston North End Football Club, on Thursday March 23.
