T Levels
T-levels are new, government-backed, career focused qualifications – an alternative to A levels, apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. Students spend 80% of their time at College and 20% of their time developing the skills needed for the workplace, on a 45-day industry placement. (Find out more about industry placements here.)
Myerscough College's Preston Centre will be offering T-Levels in the subjects listed below from September 2025.
For 2025 entry, it is anticipated that the T-Level courses in Agriculture (Livestock Technology), Animal Behaviour and Welfare and Land-based Engineering will run alongside the established Level 3 Diploma programmes in Agriculture, Animal Management and Agricultural Engineering.
The T Levels in Arboriculture and also Ornamental Horticulture and Landscaping have superseded, improved and replaced the previous City and Guilds Level 3 options.
The entry requirements for all T Levels will be a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (including Maths, English Language and Science.)
