University & College Union – Notice of Industrial Action

We have been informed that staff who are members of the University and College Union (UCU) will be undertaking industrial action next week.
The action is scheduled to take place on the following dates:
Tuesday 14th November
Wednesday 15th November
Thursday 16th November
Our Preston centre will remain open, but our centres at Croxteth, Witton Park, Ullswater Community College, Walton Hall and Old Trafford will be closed on these dates.
(14-16 and Foundation Learning students at Preston are however asked not to come onto campus, but to access Canvas from home)
Bus services and catering provision are unaffected.
We have written to students and parents today to explain further.
