Tree climbing competition - results

Last week we held a tree climbing competition within the grounds of our main Bilsborrow campus.

Competitors took part in a number of challenges including a work climb, use of a spiking pole and an aerial rescue, with some very impressive arboriculture skills on show.

Thanks also go to our special guest, Patrick Smith, from City and Guilds, who said:

"I have been hugely impressed with the efforts of the students involved. It is also fantastic to see the camaraderie from the staff and students who are supporting them and it really gives a positive impression of Myerscough."

Places are still available across a wide range of arboriculture study programmes for September 2024 entry, at all levels.
