Skills for all: Myerscough supports Colleges Week 2026
Published: Monday 2 March 2026Every day, Myerscough College equips people from all walks of life with the education, training, and skills they need to succeed.
From young people starting out, to adults retraining, and apprentices learning in the workplace, Myerscough opens doors and creates opportunities across the land-based and sports sectors.
This week, it’s the Association of Colleges (AoC) Colleges Week 2026, and this year’s theme is skills for all.
We are once again proud to be taking part in the week, running from 2–6 March. These national celebrations allow us to showcase the very best of Myerscough, while highlighting the future pathways and opportunities available to our current and prospective students.
We’ll be showcasing the valuable skills we equip our students with across school leaver, degree level, adults and apprenticeships, helping to support thousands of learners into their future careers, celebrating talent amongst our student population, alongside promoting the work Myerscough does in preparing students for their next steps.
Throughout the week, on all of our main social media channels, we will be sharing insights that reflect the daily themes set as part of Colleges Week 2026.
Monday – Adult Learning
Celebrating adult learners who return to education, from career changers to lifelong learners, and the impact of flexible, community-focused learning.
Tuesday – Young People
Shining a spotlight on young people developing vocational and academic skills, building confidence and working towards their future ambitions.
Wednesday – Apprenticeships
Discover more about how apprenticeships can help individuals and businesses thrive.
Thursday – Higher Education
Learn more about higher apprenticeships and academic qualifications at Level 4 and above, and how degree level study can open doors to future careers.
Friday – College Community
Explore what life as a student is like at Myerscough, from learning environments and student relationships to our location and partnerships both inside and outside the college.
