Myerscough Open Day & Country Fair returns!

The date for your diary is Sunday, June 8, in the amazing surroundings of our beautiful main campus at Bilsborrow, near Preston.

The college's biggest event of the year is now well established as one of the best days out in Lancashire's outdoor events calendar. An action-packed family fun day out, the event includes a large array of demonstrations, shows and interactive activities from our many diverse subject areas as well as food, drink and entertainment.

Prospective students also get the chance to see the beautiful campus at its best and chat with tutors and staff from each area.

Here’s just some of what was on offer at the 2023 event:

The Myerscough College Open Day & Country Fair was last held in 2023, as thousands of people flocked to enjoy the excellent weather and the hundreds of attractions on offer. The outstanding quality of the event was recognised after being celebrated as a finalist in the category of Small Event of the Year in the annual Lancashire Tourism Awards.

After the event took a break in 2024, it will now return for 2025, with the process of planning for the event well underway.

As usual, there will be an incredible array of exhibitors, stalls, demonstrations and activities for all the family. We love hosting this event and opening up our incredible Preston campus for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets details will be made available in the coming weeks, but ahead of that we’ll be shortly launching our commercial applications for 2025, for people to make the event bigger and better than ever.

We want to hear from you if you’re an exhibitor, contractor, stall holder, attraction, food and drink vendor, or offer any other service you think would be suitable for our event, whatever that may be.

So, we are asking everyone to submit an application to express an interest. Our events team will then review all the applications and contact you.
