Myerscough named Further Education College of the Year in the Educate North Awards

Myerscough College is delighted to have been named Further Education College of the Year in the 2022 Educate North Awards.
The Educate North Awards is a prestigious awards event, which celebrates, recognises and share best practice and excellence in the education sector in the North. The awards were announced at a special event hosted by Jim Hancock and Ayra Asif, in Manchester this week.
The Further Education College of the Year is an award to honour the leading further education institution within the North of United Kingdom, demonstrating outstanding performance in the areas of teaching, student experience, innovation and economic impact.
Myerscough College was further honoured with being shortlisted in the following categories:
UK Apprenticeship Award - an award for the organisation that has done the most extraordinary work to promote apprenticeships across the United Kingdom.
External Relations Team of the Year - this is an award to celebrate an external relations team that can demonstrate a programme delivered by a remarkable higher or further education institution, that has achieved demonstrable impact on success.
Hundreds of people filled the Midland Hotel in Manchester to celebrate the region's education sector.
Myerscough was in esteemed company as academics, leaders, students, executives and business people from across the North and indeed the UK made it an occasion to remember as a total of 23 awards were handed out, with the quality of entries so competitive that a number of Highly Commended prizes were awarded.
