University Centre Myerscough floral design students have showcased their outstanding work at a special on campus exhibition.

Myerscough’s ‘Festival of Flowers’ this week saw our talented floristry degree students showcase their artistry, passion, and technical mastery in themed floral designs, in a celebration of their journey, growth, and the boundless creativity they’ve cultivated.
Foundation degree students were able to bring their inspirations to life, crafting four unique designs based on themes drawn from films, books and designers.
Meanwhile other Level 5 students pushed the boundaries of wedding floristry, mastering advanced techniques to create unforgettable bridal designs.
The remaining degree students focused on impact, using flowers to highlight global issues and inspire change for our planet.
The highly enjoyable event was a fantastic opportunity to take a glimpse into the future of floristry, and for visitors to be inspired by their artistry.
Each student brought a unique flair to their designs, demonstrating their mastery of floral art. The exhibition featured an array of creations, from delicate bouquets and elaborate centrepieces to innovative installations that pushed the boundaries of conventional floral design.
The attention to detail and the imaginative use of flowers and foliage were evident in every piece, reflecting the high standard of education provided by Myerscough.
The event was well-attended by students and staff, all of whom were captivated by the stunning displays, which highlighted the importance of creative expression and the role of education in nurturing artistic talent.
