We are devastated to share the news that our dear colleague, Claire Obersby, has passed away, following a period of illness.

Claire had a long-standing association with Myerscough, totalling 23 years, firstly as a student, before joining the College latterly as a Quality Development Co-ordinator, a role she held for almost a decade.
Claire was passionate about making a real difference to college life, and making sure that the student experience at Myerscough was as positive and happy as it could be, leading initiatives such as our Learner Voice scheme and many other student enrichment opportunities.
She will be remembered by us all for her amazing outlook on life, and her constant support of staff and students alike, and as someone who was liked and highly respected by everyone who met her.
Her kindness and positivity will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working with her.
We send our sincere condolences to Claire’s husband, children, family and friends.
Rest in peace, Claire.
