Another national title for Myerscough basketballers

Myerscough beat Richard Huish College, from Taunton in Somerset, 70-52, in the final at the University of Wolverhampton.

There could be more silverware for Myerscough’s Basketball Academy too, as the under-17s play in the final of the Dynamik National Schools Cup Competition on May 14^th.

Since forming in September 2013, Myerscough College Basketball Academy has won dozens of titles on the court.

Designed to provide students with the unique opportunity to live and train as professional athletes, the Myerscough Basketball Academy helps students develop a comprehensive understanding of the game, whilst studying towards academic qualifications that are designed to provide the ideal pathway to university level degree courses or the professional world of basketball.
