Myerscough College to welcome European Champion Dressage star for masterclass event

European Champion Dressage rider, Gareth Hughes, will appear at Myerscough College’s International Equine Arena next month.

Following his 2023 international success as a key part of the British Dressage team, European Team Champion and gold medallist, Gareth will be giving a ‘through the levels’ masterclass at Myerscough International Arena on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Over the past 10 years, Gareth has amassed more than sixty national and international titles including international wins both in the UK and abroad.

Gareth is a member of British World Class Podium Squad with numerous Nation Cup wins. He competed and medalled at the 2014 World Equestrian Games (Team Silver), the 2022 World Equestrian Games (Team Silver), the 2013 and 2019 (Team Bronze) , 2021 European Dressage Championships (Team Silver). Gareth also attended the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan as the Team GBR reserve.

Gareth will be working with a number of horse and rider combinations from Young Horse through to the Grand Prix throughout the day, as he demonstrates the training techniques that have made him one of the most prominent riders and trainers in the sport of Dressage.
