Interview Information

All of our applicants for 14-16 courses will be invited to a College interview. 

The interview is a chance for you to see the College facilities and have a face to face discussion with a course tutor about why you would like to study your chosen course. If you apply before March, you will also have the opportunity to join a session with our current year 1 students!

You may also get the chance to partake in a practical/workshop session where applicable. In some Learning Areas you may be asked to take a short test which may include a numeracy and literacy test.

Can’t make the date?

There are very often waiting lists for interview places. If you are unable to make your allocated date please let us know as soon as possible by emailing 14to16@myerscough.ac.uk.

Top Tips

Relax!

It is normal to be nervous but you don’t need to worry about a thing. Just follow the tips on this page and remember to be yourself!

Don't be late!

It is important that you arrive on time for your interview. If you know you are going to be late please call 01995 642222 with your estimated time of arrival.

Be passionate!

This is a subject that you love and it is your time to shine! Make sure that you tell us as much as you can about why you want to do this course and how you think it will help you in your future career.

Interview us!

Remember that the interview is also a chance for you to find out more about the course and what you will be studying. Think of some questions that you would like to ask and bring them with you on the day.
