Applicants for this role may be eligible for funding through the Taking Teaching Further programme from the DfE. To be eligible, you must be new to teaching and not already hold any teaching qualifications.  You must be working towards or have a Level 2 qualifications in English and maths. You must also have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in your technical specialism and relevant industry experience. 
The Taking Teaching Further programme can help with financial support for your teaching qualification and offers additional mentor support as you settle into your new career. You may also be eligible for a financial incentive of £6000.  The aim of the financial incentive is to attract those with the relevant knowledge and industry experience to teach in this specialist area in our College.
