The Commercial Services area at Myerscough College has undergone a positive restructure which has resulted in growth. A number of vacancies are available and we would love you to be part of this new and exciting team at a time where we are looking at fresh ideas, creativity, and a desire to improve and build on an already brilliant team.

About the role

Our student residential village and the Myerscough residential accommodation is an incredibly important part of the campus here at Preston. We are always striving to make sure it is as safe and well maintained as we possibly can, and we would love for you to be part of the team that makes that happen.

You might be generally skilled in various aspects of DIY or you may have a particular strength in one area (like joinery, decorating, etc.) – either way we would love to hear from you. This is a busy environment but you would be part of a team of 3 that all work together, with the workload evenly spread out. There would be some early evenings and weekends as part of your rota so that we can ensure we react quickly to any maintenance issues that arise, and provide the best possible customer service to our students and commercial clients. Accommodating our students is a major part of what we do, but we also offer conferences and events on a residential basis, so we operate all year round (except our Christmas and New Year close down period!).
