We are a diverse learning community of c4,500 ambitious students studying at 6 centres across the North West of England, with students studying from entry level to PhD.  The hub of our provision is at our main campus in Bilsborrow, Preston where the Chief Executive and Principal will be predominantly based.

Our stunning, 450-hectare campus is one of the finest in the UK. We have invested over £40m in our educational resources over the last 10 years and are home to a wide range of specialist facilities such as 2 commercial farms, international equine arena, 9-hole golf course, high performance sports centres, engineering centre, state of the art glasshouses, motorsport, veterinary nursing, and animal studies centres. We have a strong national and international reputation in many of our specialist subjects such as arboriculture and sportsturf and have excellent connections with some of the UK’s and world’s biggest brands.

We are seeking an outstanding Chief Executive & Principal to succeed Alison Robinson, who retires in 2023. The successful candidate will lead Myerscough through its next phase of development and be a visible presence on campus and externally. Together with the Governors, leadership team, and academic and professional services colleagues, they will build on everything we have achieved by continuing to innovate and evolve, giving our students and staff the best possible experience and environment in which to develop and thrive. The Chief Executive & Principal will bring senior strategic leadership and management experience gained in a complex education provider, and will provide academic, strategic, and organisational leadership that captures our ambition and drive. They will have outstanding interpersonal skills, embody Myerscough’s ethos and values, and be the guardian of our mission, culture, and values.
